Cup & Box started with something simple: ice cream.
Our family business in the UK was paying through the roof for cups — and worse, being told when they were allowed to order them. That never sat right with us. So, with Charlie living in Taiwan, we decided to do a little digging. What we found was eye-opening: having the advantage of being able to make strong local connections made it easy to source and deliver cups for a far better price anyone in Europe could match.
At first, it was just for us. And we made mistakes. Of course we did. But over a few years, we saved thousands. And the mistakes were long gone - and they taught us everything we needed to know. Soon, friends and friends of friends started asking if we could help them, too. One order turned into two, two turned into ten — and before we knew it, we’d built the foundation of an international packaging company.
After 13 years in Taiwan, we’ve grown into a team with staff in both England and Taiwan. We’ve built rock-solid relationships with manufacturers, and we’ve mastered the logistics game.
